What is it to be thankful for your mother? Prior to moving to LA that is what I’ve never really understood. I guess because my mother was always there to comfort me, cook for me, scold me, and may times would threaten to kick me out to live on the streets if I don’t abide by her rules. I didn’t fully understand the method to her madness in that time of adolecence. Now, I carry with me the utmost gratitude and love for her madness now that I have experiences a little taste of independence. I realize now that there was a reason that she made me cook every now and then for the family, how I had to wash my own clothes at a certain point, throw the trash, wash dishes, clean and bathe the dogs, have no allowance, etc. All that just so some day I would turn out to be a well rounded individual with good morals that she has embedded in me. There is nothing like a mothers’ unconditional love.
